Does the Bluetooth connection between the smartphone and LinkOne / LinkTwo need to be established manually for every charging session?

A single monthly sync is sufficient.

No, syncing via smartphone once a month (for monthly billing) is entirely sufficient. The charging data is stored in an encrypted format on the device, which allows company car drivers to use LinkOne / LinkTwo at any time without needing a connection to their phone.

Furthermore, LinkOne / LinkTwo does not require a SIM card. Data transmission is handled entirely via the Bluetooth interface of the smartphone and the accompanying app, which is available for Android and Apple smartphones in their respective app stores. This means that an OCPP connection, as required with a wallbox, is not necessary.
