The LOCIO cable (LinkOne or LinkTwo) automatically records every charging session and stores the data directly on the device. The data is transmitted to the LOCIO app and the backend via Bluetooth.
How data transfer works
Recorded in the cable: As soon as a charging session begins, the device automatically logs the energy consumed (kWh), start time, and duration. This data is stored internally in the cable – even without an active app connection.
Synced via Bluetooth: When you hold your smartphone near the cable with the LOCIO app open, the stored charging data is transferred to your device via Bluetooth.
Transmitted to the backend: As soon as your smartphone has an internet connection, the data is automatically forwarded to the LOCIO backend and can be viewed in the app.
Charging without the app – no problem
You don't need to have your smartphone with you for every charging session. The cable stores the data internally – so you can charge for an entire month, for example, and only use the app at the end of the month to sync the data.
Difference between LinkOne and LinkTwo
Both products use the same Bluetooth-based data transfer method. The difference lies in their application:
LinkOne – smart charging cable for wallboxes without a fixed attached cable
LinkTwo – smart charging adapter for wallboxes with a fixed attached cable
Connection issues?
If your data is not syncing, please check the following:
Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone
You are near the cable (less than 2 metres)
An active charging session is running – the device must be powered to be detected via Bluetooth
The LOCIO app has the required Bluetooth permissions
