Yes. Charging your vehicle works fully without the LOCIO app. The app is only needed to sync the charging data – not for the charging process itself.
How is the data stored?
LinkOne and LinkTwo store all charging data (energy consumed, start time, duration) directly on the device. You can charge for as long as you like without an app connection – the data will not be lost.
When do I need the app?
The app is needed to transfer the stored charging data to your smartphone via Bluetooth and then forward it to the LOCIO backend. Only then can you create a receipt for your employer.
Tip: You can charge for an entire month, for example, and only use the app at the end of the month to sync the data.
