LinkOne vs. LinkTwo – Overview

LinkOne – The Smart Charging Cable

LinkOne is a smart Type 2-to-Type 2 charging cable for electric vehicles.

Suitable for: Wallboxes without a fixed attached cable (so-called "socket-only" wallboxes)

How it works:

  • You connect LinkOne between your electric vehicle and the wallbox.

  • The cable automatically activates as soon as a charging session begins.

  • Charging data is stored directly in the cable and synced to the LOCIO App via Bluetooth.

  • Via the app, you generate a monthly expense reimbursement voucher for your employer.

Technical details:

  • Cable length: 6 metres

  • Connector type: Type 2 → Type 2

  • Connection: Bluetooth (LOCIO App required)

  • Compatible with all common wallboxes without a fixed cable, as well as mobile charging stations and household sockets via the LAPP Mobility Dock

⚠️ Important: LinkOne is exclusively designed for wallboxes without a fixed cable. It must not be used as an extension cable or "plug-on" adapter with wallboxes that have an integrated cable. For safety reasons, extension cables are also not permitted. LinkOne is currently only available in a 6-metre length.

LinkTwo – The Smart Charging Adapter

LinkTwo is a smart charging adapter with an integrated cable.

Suitable for: Wallboxes with a fixed attached cable (e.g. wallboxes with a Type 2 cable)

How it works:

  • The adapter box is plugged in between the wallbox's fixed cable and your electric vehicle.

  • LinkTwo records the charging session and stores the data.

  • Charging data is synced to the LOCIO App via Bluetooth.

  • Via the app, you generate a monthly expense reimbursement voucher for your employer.

Technical details:

  • Built-in cable: 4 metres (in addition to the wallbox cable)

  • Connection: Bluetooth (LOCIO App required)

  • Compatible with wallboxes with a fixed Type 2 cable

Which product is right for me?

→ LinkOne, if your wallbox has only a socket (no cable attached).

→ LinkTwo, if your wallbox already has a built-in cable that you plug into your car.

Not sure? Check whether a cable is already hanging from your wallbox. If yes → LinkTwo. If there is only a socket → LinkOne.
