My app shows that the charging session has not yet ended, but I have already stopped charging my car.

Causes and steps to resolve the issue when the app shows a charging session as still in progress.

In this case, there was no BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) connection between the smartphone and the cable at the time of the charging session. This is not an error – all charging sessions are stored directly on the device and transferred automatically the next time a Bluetooth connection is established.

Important: Your charging data will not be lost.

Why does this happen?

A LOCIO device (LinkOne / LinkTwo) remains active for approximately 10 minutes after a charging session ends. If no Bluetooth connection to the smartphone is established within this window, the device shuts down – without transmitting the completion of the charging session to the app. The app therefore continues to show the session as still in progress.

What can you do?

  1. Get close to the device: Position yourself within a maximum of 2 metres of the cable.

  2. Enable Bluetooth: Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your smartphone.

  3. Check Bluetooth permissions: Verify that the LOCIO app has the required Bluetooth permissions: Settings → Apps → LOCIO → Permissions.

  4. Activate the device: Start a new charging session or press the touch sensor on the outside of the cable box – a beep confirms activation. Then open the LOCIO app – the status will update automatically and all stored charging sessions will be synced.
