The LOCIO app is the central tool for company car drivers to manage charging costs and submit monthly reimbursements to their employer. Below you will find an overview of all currently available features.
📡 Recording & Syncing Charging Sessions
All charging sessions are stored directly on the LOCIO cable (LinkOne or LinkTwo) – regardless of whether your smartphone is nearby. Data is transferred automatically via Bluetooth the next time the app connects. A single monthly sync is fully sufficient.
In the app, you can view all connected devices and recorded charging sessions – including date, time, and consumption in kWh – under the "Cable" section.
Storing & Managing Your Electricity Tariff
To create receipts, you must store your current household electricity tariff in the app. The document must include the following information:
Name and address
Gross unit price in €/kWh
Validity period of the tariff
Tariff verification usually takes place within 48 hours. Dynamic electricity tariffs (e.g. Tibber) are also supported – in this case, an updated tariff document is requested on a monthly basis.
📄 Creating & Submitting Monthly Receipts
Once a month has ended, you can create an expense reimbursement receipt for your employer in the app. The process works as follows:
Navigate to "Receipts" in the app and select the relevant month.
Review and confirm the reimbursable charging sessions.
Check your stored tariff and profile details.
Submit the receipt.
After submission, the receipt is reviewed by LOCIO and approved within 48 hours. It is then automatically sent to the email addresses stored in your account.
💳 Automatic Reimbursement (Payment+)
If your employer uses Payment+, reimbursement is fully automated – no manual submission of receipts by email or expense form required. You must have a valid IBAN stored in the app. The receipt download is disabled at system level for Payment+ users to prevent duplicate submissions.
🚗 Mileage Logging (Pro & Payment+)
With a Pro or Payment+ licence, fleet management can set up recurring mileage queries via the LOCIO Dashboard. You will then be prompted via the app to enter your current mileage. Available intervals: daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly.
👤 Profile Management
In the app, you can manage your personal details (name, address, email address for receipt delivery). Depending on your fleet management's requirements, additional mandatory fields such as personnel number, cost centre, or licence plate number may apply.
🔧 Additional Features
Push notifications: You will automatically receive a notification when a new receipt is ready for confirmation.
In-app support: You can contact LOCIO Support directly via the Help menu in the app.
Dashboard connection: Once you have accepted your fleet management's invitation, your charging data and receipts will be visible in the LOCIO Dashboard.
