Reassigning a cable – delete data beforehand

Before passing on a cable from your inventory that was previously assigned to another user, make sure that all data stored on the cable is completely deleted.

Deleting data personally (by the user)

If the previous user is still actively connected to the cable, they can delete the stored data themselves. To do so, they need to select the "Delete cable data" function in the LOCIO app under the Help menu.

External reset (by fleet management)

If the user no longer has access to the cable, you as fleet manager can reset the data via your dashboard. Use the "Force reset cable data" function for this. Once the reset has been completed successfully, the cable can be reassigned to a new user without any issues.
