What to do if you registered with the wrong email address in LOCIO

Did you accidentally register for LOCIO with an incorrect or private email address? No problem – the LOCIO support team can manually update your email address. All your existing charging sessions will be fully retained in the process.

What should you do?

Please reach out to us directly via the support chat in the LOCIO app and describe your issue. We will make the change manually for you – all existing charging sessions will be transferred to the new email address.

⚠️ Important: Please do not create a second account with the correct email address in the meantime. This is counter-productive and may cause issues with your existing charging sessions.

When is a change not possible?

Unfortunately, updating the email address is not possible if another LOCIO account already exists under the desired email address. In that case, the current address cannot be changed to the requested one.

What happens to my charging sessions if a change is not possible?

If the email address cannot be updated, charging sessions stored on the affected account cannot be transferred to another account and will therefore be lost.

Please contact our support via the LOCIO app as early as possible to avoid this situation.
